This panel examines China’s Enterprise Bankruptcy Law (EBL), which came into force in 2007. The panelists provide an overview of the EBL and explore recent macroeconomic conditions and market trends in China, as well as the challenges being encountered by the EBL as it has entered its second decade. This session also reflects on practical experiences with judicial capacity-building with the Chinese judiciary.
