ABI AND STETSON UNIVERSITY PARTNER TO HOLD 34th JUDGE ALEXANDER L. PASKAY SEMINAR ON BANKRUPTCY LAW AND PRACTICE MARCH 4-6

December 16, 2009, Alexandria, Va.— The American Bankruptcy Institute is partnering with Stetson University College of Law to present the 34th Annual Judge Alexander L. Paskay Seminar on Bankruptcy Law and Practice on March 4-6, 2010, at the Hyatt Regency Tampa in Tampa, Fla. Moving to a new time of year and a new venue, the seminar delivers prominent national speakers on timely topics in both commercial and consumer bankruptcy, plus unique optional networking events. A judges' panel on circuit splits includes bankruptcy judges from seven judicial circuits, and five judges from Florida are also on the faculty. Nearly 11.5 hours of CLE are available. Bankruptcy Judge Alexander L. Paskay is the judicial chair for the event.

Also offered is the primer course 'Bankruptcy Fundamentals: Nuts & Bolts for Young and New Practitioners.' This program is presented by five sitting judges in the Tampa Division of the Middle District of Florida. Updated to include recent case law, the program explains the fundamentals of business and consumer bankruptcy to new and young professionals.
