Alexandria, Va. — ABI and the UMKC School of Law are pleased to present the 2019 Midwestern Bankruptcy Institute at the University of Missouri-Kansas City on Oct. 3-4, 2019! This year’s program features business, consumer and professional development tracks at affordable pricing, so attendees can get the exact training that they need. Attendees have the opportunity to earn up to 12.7/12 hours of CLE/CPE credit and 3.6/1 hours of ethics credit. There is also a special track of programs tailored to consumer practitioners at a reduced rate. The program will feature a special luncheon presentation by ABI President Alane A. Becket of Becket & Lee LLP (Malvern, Pa.), who will discuss the Final Report of ABI’s Commission on Consumer Bankruptcy. The popular ABI Talks session will feature discussions on venue reform, provide economic forecasts and look at marijuana issues in bankruptcy. Jill D.
