Bradley Cosman of Perkins Coie LLP Selected as One of ABI’s 2019 “40 Under 40”

Alexandria, Va. ABI announces that Bradley Cosman of Perkins Coie LLP (Phoenix) has been selected as one of ABI’s “40 Under 40,” ABI’s annual program that recognizes 40 of the top insolvency industry professionals under the age of 40. Honorees will be recognized at a special ceremony during ABI’s 2019 Winter Leadership Conference, taking place Dec. 5-7 at the Terranea Resort in Rancho Palos Verdes, Calif.

Cosman is a partner with Perkins Coie LLP in Phoenix and distinguishes his legal practice by drawing on his unique financial experience. A former corporate turnaround advisor with FTI Consulting and a Certified Insolvency and Restructuring Advisor (CIRA), Cosman has experience across multiple aspects of corporate restructuring, including legal, accounting, operational, strategic and financial. He represents constituents throughout the capital stack, including debtors, senior and junior secured lenders, unsecured creditors, principals and guarantors. He has particular experience with privately held and middle-market companies. Cosman is a former chair of the Bankruptcy Section of the State Bar of Arizona and has been recognized as a Super Lawyers “Rising Star.” He received his J.D. magna cum laude in 2008 from Arizona State University’s Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law, and his B.S. magna cum laude in both finance and marketing from Arizona State University in 2001.

The “40 Under 40” winners are distinguished by professional achievements and service and were selected by a group of experienced professionals from ABI’s current leadership. Nominations were submitted via the initiative’s website, through which professionals nominated themselves or a colleague. Membership in ABI was not required, and more than 350 candidates were evaluated. Those selected were chosen from both large and small firms from every region of the country, and represent diverse practice areas such as law, finance, accounting, consulting, academia, government and more.
