DEBORAH A. CRABBE ELECTED TO ABI’S BOARD OF DIRECTORS
May 24, 2010, Alexandria, Va. — The American Bankruptcy Institute (ABI) announces that Deborah A. Crabbe of Foster Pepper PLLC (Seattle) has been elected to ABI’s Board of Directors. An ABI member since 1996 and a frequent contributing author to theABI Journal, Crabbe was also a co-chair of ABI’s Business Reorganization Committee. She will serve a term of three years on the 60-member ABI Board of Directors.
Crabbe’s practice at Foster Pepper concentrates in creditors’ rights and bankruptcy, including all facets of secured transactions, receiverships and workout proceedings. She has substantial experience representing lenders, trade creditors, trustees, receivers and individuals. Crabbe is also a member of the Washington State Bar Association, King County Bar Association and the National Association of Bond Lawyers. She has been named a Washington Law & Politics “Super Lawyer” from 2003-2009. Crabbe received her B.A. from Laurentian University, her M.S. from University of Massachusetts and her J.D. from Seattle University.
