DOUGLAS E. DEUTSCH ELECTED TO ABI’S BOARD OF DIRECTORS

May 24, 2010, Alexandria, Va. — The American Bankruptcy Institute (ABI) announces that Douglas E. Deutsch of Chadbourne & Parke, LLP (New York) has been elected to ABI’s Board of Directors. An ABI member since 1998 and a contributing author to theABI Law Review and ABI Journal, Deutsch was also a co-chair of ABI’s Secured Creditors’ Committee. Hewill serve a term of three years on the 60-member ABI Board of Directors.

A partner at Chadbourne & Parke, Deutsch has represented creditors’ committees, secured and unsecured creditors and debtors. Deutsch has also been an adjunct professor for St. John's University School of Law’s LL.M. Program. Deutsch received his B.S. from Drew University and his J.D. from St. John's University School of Law.
