Monique B. Disabatino of Saul Ewing Arnstein & Lehr LLP Selected as One of ABI’s 2019 “40 Under 40”

Alexandria, Va. ABI announces that Monique B. DiSabatino of Saul Ewing Arnstein & Lehr LLP (Wilmington, Del.) has been selected as one of ABI’s “40 Under 40,” ABI’s annual program that recognizes 40 of the top insolvency industry professionals under the age of 40. Honorees will be recognized at a special ceremony during ABI’s 2019 Winter Leadership Conference, taking place Dec. 5-7 at the Terranea Resort in Rancho Palos Verdes, Calif.

An attorney in the Bankruptcy and Restructuring Department of Saul Ewing Arnstein & Lehr LLP and resident in the firm’s Wilmington, Del., office, DiSabatino concentrates her practice on a broad range of commercial bankruptcy, workout and restructuring matters in which she represents debtors, trade creditors, landlords, equityholders and other parties. DiSabatino has served as counsel in many large and complex chapter 11 cases over the years, representing clients in a range of industries including health care, manufacturing, distribution, retail, hospitality and construction and real estate development. She has also served as lead or co-counsel to numerous chapter 11 debtors.

DiSabatino has been recognized as a leading lawyer in Chambers USA and as a “Rising Star” in Super Lawyers. She also frequently publishes articles on the subject of bankruptcy and restructuring law in a variety of publications. DiSabatino received her J.D. cum laude from the University of Maryland School of Law in 2009 and her B.A. magna cum laude from Lehigh University in 2006.

The “40 Under 40” winners are distinguished by professional achievements and service and were selected by a group of experienced professionals from ABI’s current leadership. Nominations were submitted via the initiative’s website, through which professionals nominated themselves or a colleague. Membership in ABI was not required, and more than 350 candidates were evaluated. Those selected were chosen from both large and small firms from every region of the country, and represent diverse practice areas such as law, finance, accounting, consulting, academia, government and more.
