Bradley T. Giordano of McDermott Will & Emery Selected as One of ABI's 2020 "40 Under 40"

Alexandria, Va. ABI announces that Bradley T. Giordano of McDermott Will & Emery (Chicago) has been selected as one of ABI’s “40 Under 40,” ABI’s annual program that recognizes 40 of the top insolvency industry professionals under the age of 40. Honorees will be recognized at a special virtual ceremony at a special virtual ceremony on February 18, 2021.

Giordano represents debtors, equity sponsors, lender groups, creditors and strategic investors in all aspects of in-court and out-of-court restructurings. He advises senior managers and boards of directors on operating in chapter 11, fiduciary-duty considerations and strategic restructuring alternatives. Giordano also advises credit and private-equity fund clients in connection with strategic acquisitions or dispositions of distressed assets. His restructuring experience includes complex multijurisdictional and cross-border matters, spanning multiple industries including health care, retail, energy, technology, hospitality, media, airlines, aircraft manufacturing, telecom and heavy machinery. He was the recipient of Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch 2021 in Bankruptcy and Creditor Debtor Rights/Insolvency and Reorganization Law. Giordano received his J.D. from the University of Virginia and his B.A. magna cum laude from DePauw University.

The “40 Under 40” winners are distinguished by professional achievements and service and were selected by a group of experienced professionals from ABI’s current leadership. Nominations were submitted earlier this year by the candidates themselves or by colleagues via the initiative’s website, http://abi40under40.org. More than 200 candidates, each with outstanding records of professional achievement and community leadership, were evaluated by 20 judges. The majority of the applicants were partners, directors or managing directors at their firms.
