Thomas A. Morrow Elected to ABIs Board of Directors

Alexandria, Va. — The American Bankruptcy Institute (ABI) announces that Thomas A. Morrow of AlixPartners LLP (Southfield, Mich.) has been elected to ABI’s Board of Directors. An ABI member since 2000, Morrow is on the advisory committee of ABI’s Complex Financial Restructuring Program and Central States Bankruptcy Workshop, is a frequent speaker at ABI programs and has been an active member of ABI’s Business Reorganization, Financial Advisors and Investment Banking and Professional Compensation Committees, as well as ABI’s Commercial Fraud Task Force. He also chairs ABI’s annual Corporate Restructuring Competition at the Wharton School. He will serve a term of three years on the 60-member ABI Board of Directors. Morrow is a managing director at AlixPartners, LLP’s Southfield, Mich., office, where he focuses on helping companies improve profitability through better management of their cash flow, cost structure and human resources. He has spent more than 20 years helping companies solve financial and strategic challenges, and he provides expertise in financial, operational and business analysis, loan workouts and restructurings, and creditor negotiations. Mr. Morrow is a CIRA and a CTP and also serves on the board of the Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Advisors, where he is Vice President of Education. In addition, he is a frequent speaker on restructuring topics and has published several articles in the ABI Journal. Mr. Morrow received his B.B.A. with distinction from the University of Michigan and his M.B.A. from the University of Chicago.
