ABI Editor-at-Large Bill Rochelle's latest segment examines how the Supreme Court won't rule on (1) whether a refund is the proper remedy for a chapter 11 debtor who paid higher U.S. Trustee fees that were held unconstitutional by the Court on June 6, and (2) whether bankruptcy courts may impose contempt sanctions for violations of Bankruptcy Rule 3002.1, the rule that requires lenders to give notice within 180 days of fees or expenses being charged to a chapter 13 debtor.
