Bettina M. Whyte (Jay Alix & Associates Inc.; New York) will continue as Treasurer. Prof. G. Ray Warner (visiting professor, St. John's University School of Law) continues as Secretary. Leonard P. Goldberger (White & Williams; Philadelphia) continues as Vice President for Membership. Keith J. Shapiro (Greenberg Traurig; Chicago) is now Immediate Past President, and Ford Elsaesser (Elsaesser, Jarzabek, Anderson, Marks & Elliot; Sandpoint, Idaho) is Chairman of the Board of Directors. The ABI Board also approved the addition of eight new members. They will be profiled in the next issue of the Journal.

University of Idaho School of Law Wins Annual Conrad B. Duberstein Moot Court Competition
The University of Idaho College of Law prevailed over 22 other law school teams to win the Ninth Annual Judge Conrad B. Duberstein National Moot Court Competition. Idaho defeated a team from Brooklyn Law School in the final round, which was held at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. Judging the finals were Hon. Edith Hollan Jones (5th Cir.), Hon. David R. Hansen (8th Cir.), Hon. Sidney R. Thomas (9th Cir.), Dean Joseph Bellacosa (St. John's School of Law and former judge of the New York Court of Appeals), Hon. Stuart M. Bernstein (Chief Bankruptcy Judge, S.D.N.Y.) and Hon. Conrad B. Duberstein (Chief Bankruptcy Judge, E.D.N.Y.). A number of ABI members helped to coach teams in this year's competition, including Ford Elsaesser (Idaho), Patricia Redmond (University of Miami), Bill Leech (Mississippi College), Mark Williams (University of Alabama) and Mary Jo Heston (University of Seattle).
ABI Welcomes New Staffer
Christie Rogers joined our staff in March as a desktop publishing specialist. Christie has extensive experience in the design and publications print process, most recently as the graphic designer for the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority. She created brochures, newsletters, stationery, invitations and other media in addition to working on the MWAA web site. She has a B.A. in public relations from Harding University.
